A source is eligible only when access rights, publication authority, stable identity and retrieval evidence are documented. Official public sources are preferred. A discovered page is not automatically a reusable dataset.

Registered vehicle stock counts vehicles present on an official register at a stated census date. It is not a count of sales, deliveries or new registrations during a period. The Australian records on this site retain that census-date definition.
The Australian value is registered stock on a census date. The Great Britain value is first-registration events during a calendar quarter. Different statistical subjects and time grains make a ratio, premium, ranking or trend misleading, even though both values use vehicles as the unit.
A verified correction creates a new revision or event containing its reason, reviewer, prior value and replacement. The prior record remains traceable instead of being silently overwritten. Reports should identify the exact page, claim and official evidence.
